For my birthday, we headed up to Cedar Point for Media day of TT2, and were incredibly surprised to be given a room at the cedar stables boutique hotel when we checked in at the holiday inn desk. incredible room, one of the most memorable birthdays of my life. Can't wait to get back again although I am not sure any experience could compare to what we experienced April 25th!

The beds where comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the bag breakfast on the go. It worked out great for my grandson he over slept and did not get breakfast so we grab a to go breakfast from the counter for him. Thanks you!

Best theme park in the world, I stayed here for 4 days and every day was amazing. It has some of the best roller coasters in the world and the surrounding environment with the park being on a lake is special. Expect some ride closures as they have a lot of rides but their team try and get them open as quick as they can when there’s a technical hitch

Long lines at the rides. Did not like the app at all. It would say no line but there were lines everywhere. We love cedar point but definitely don't try to buy a one day pass and they are only opened on the weekends so be prepared.

Need more senior friendly areas with shade and benches........and we are 68+70.... And a bit overweight so we couldn't ride most rides together. We rode the ferris wheel..train..and the iron dragon....not into roller coasters up and down......we like the hymilaya and the low rides but we can't fit together...guess we'll have to go on a diet....lol

Going on a Saturday is a mistake anytime in the season. We waited 2.5 hours on 1 ride, 3.15 hours on another. To sum it up, we were there from 10:30 am to midnight and we rode 4 rides and walked and waited the rest of the time

All in all, it was a great stay! Clean and affordable. SUPER close to Cedar Point. The bed was more comfortable than those at a higher end hotel. The breakfast offered was decent and the staff were SO nice. They went above and beyond. Only downside was our AC had some issues in our room, caused a bit of an odd smell, but the hotel staff/maintenance fixed it!
Very clean rooms, it had everything you need and most importantly awesome staff! It is very close to Cedar Point; 7 min drive from gate to the hotel. The hotel offers free popcorn and cookies at night
We took our kids to Cedar Point and stayed at the hotel afterward. The hotel is only 5 miles from CP, so about 10 minutes. It was a great price and the hotel was clean and comfortable. They have a nice outdoor pool with a fireplace under a pergola. The continental breakfast was really good. It included eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, fruit, cereal, juices, and coffee. I would definitely recommend it and we will stay again when we come back to the park next year!
They breakfast was so good the location was excellent not too far from cedar point, a bar, restaurant, bowling alley and laser tag is all right next to the hotel

Close to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Really nice to have a whole apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen and big living room at less cost than two hotel rooms near the park! This isn’t a fancy place, and had a couple of stains on the carpet, but it was clean, appointed well and had nice beds and bedding! Also, while we didn’t drink it (I had two teenagers with me) the owner had left us a bottle of wine in the fridge; which was a really nice gesture. He was also very easy to get in touch with when I had questions. Very responsive!
Everything was very clean, staff was accommodating, and 24/7 concierge was a lifesaver. They also had toothbrushes on hand when I forgot mine. :) The included breakfast made a huge difference for me! Made it so I could zip to wherever I needed to go without having to worry about where to eat. The location is less than 2 miles from Cedar Point, too! I loved it here and will stay again on my next visit to Sandusky. The only thing that would send this hotel over the top would be adding hot scrambled eggs and hot sausage to the breakfast.
This place exceeded my expectations... We have a family of 5 and the room size and set up was perfect for us. It was 10 mins. from Cedar Point and located in an area w everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel to families intending to go to Cedar Point or any of the shoreline locations in Sandusky...
