Wonderful spot within a few minutes walk to Asilomar beach. The cabins are very clean, updated, and cozy- with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The grounds are well kept with nice gardens and places to relax or play games. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area!

The location is perfect! Walk to the Aquarium, Cannery Row and several restaurants in Lighthouse Ave. even to the wharf if you’re really wanting a longer walk.

This place is fantastic. You can tell it’s not a corporate run operation. Mahomes could stand outside your room and hit the beach with a football, that’s how close it is. Each room has a private patio with greenery and their is a shared heated pool and hot tub. Nice outside seating areas as well.

Very disappointing.
Very disappointing. The room did not look like pictures at all. Neither did the outside. Just repainted room, very poorly....please do not pay painters for their work. Nothing on walls etc. to give one a welcome feeling. Paid for a king room with partial ocean view and fireplace.....not good...metal insert fireplace with paint drips dried on it and looked around a building which was not in any pictures to see ocean. Insult to injurY, after paying for this upgrade, the hall in which our room was located was a drop off for all the dirty laundry. Had to tip toe around it to get to our door. I was so throughly disgusted I was almost ready to leave but couldn’t get my money back!

Very well-located hotel with many restaurants and entertainment options nearby. Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf. The Monterey Trolley is free and right around the corner, which makes it easy to get to Cannery Row and not have to deal with parking.
Location couldn't be better, in the middle of Cannery Row. Service from the Bell staff was tollerable service from the valet was unacceptable. We called for our car to go to a dinner reservation. The car took an hour. As a result we lost our dinner reservation and all we got was a weak response from the hotel manager on duty. When I demanded financial consideration I got free valet service for our stay
The room was quite spacious and comfortable with the ac. The pool was fun to use and the hotel was conveniently placed close to downtown Monterey, fisherman’s wharf, and access to the free trolley to get to the aquarium and cannery row. Everything was easily walkable which is great after a hearty meal!
Love the location!!!! Our room was facing cannery row which was a little noisy but definitely not a deal breaker. The side stairs took us straight to a beautiful little beach with tide pools and clear water. Hotel was in walking distance of everything you wanted to see. We checked in right as wine and cheese were served at the hotel was a very welcomed reprieve before we started our afternoon of shopping and enjoying ourselves.
This was my family’s second time staying here and we think this is the best hotel for its price. Only 4 minutes away from a nice beach. 10 minutes away from cannery row and the aquarium. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was smooth. Next time I come to Monterey I’ll be booking here FOR SURE!!
It was close to everything you would need for a family trip like gas stations, aquarium & cannery row. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast only had juice, coffee & breakfast bars. For a last min trip this hotel was great for us!
The location is good, close to restaurants, stores and Cannery Row. The hotel staff were welcoming. Free onsite parking was great. The room and bathroom were clean. Nice fireplace in the room. Loved having a fridge in the room.
This hotel was really nice. I had a room with vaulted ceilings, a balcony, and a fireplace. The location was central to the popular fisherman's wharf and the old cannery row/monterey aquarium. For the money, this place can't be beat. It's an excellent value all around. I did all sightseeing on foot and by rented bike, so if you like to park and not deal with driving this hotel is a good choice for you. I'd stay here again for sure.
The hotel is well situated, just walking distance away from Monterey's Cannery Row. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with the added charm of a working gas fireplace. What's more, the hotel offers a generous breakfast and a wine-tasting happy hour. What's there not to like? Just note that off-the-street garage parking is extra. Also, if you are looking for a nearby restaurant, I would strongly recommend The Sardine Factory, which serves excellent seafood.
