Breakfast was great as well as the location, very easy to get to where we wanted to go. The price was very reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

It was cozy, clean and convenient to everything from the Main Street in Fredricksburg, so many wineries to choose from and I loved that it was a gated and private community.

Walnut Creek Cabins is a quiet and peaceful place that is a great place to get away but is still a quick drive to Fredericksburg. It was also close to Old Tunnel State Park.

The food provided was plentiful, delicious and diverse. There was more than enough for breakfasts and snacks during our entire three night stay. I loved the decor. We were very comfortable in the cabin. The hosts provided written material about the area and things to see and do. They thought of everything we could possibly need. Cookie, the cow, and I had a couple nice chats in the mornings. Lorenzo, the llama, stayed aloof until our last evening when we met him and the donkeys in person, but what fun. We slept very soundly and enjoyed walking around the property and reading on the front porch. If we had gotten any more relaxed, we'd have slipped into a coma.
