When we entered the room smelled of smoke. Went to the bathroom and found cigarette ashes in the toilet and some on the seat. I grew up in a house that smoked so I just flushed and wiped the seat but I don’t smoke and didn’t like the smell. It eventually disappeared. I’m assuming they just cleaned and a worked took a smoke break and forgot to flush. Rest of the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Great breakfast options also!
Staff was great and even called to make sure we get our stuff back that my daughters left there.

The Hall was all that I had dreamed it would be.
The Hall was all that I had dreamed it would be. My suggestion is to go early as there is so much to see. The guides there are terrific. I recommend taking the guided tour of the plaques as the guide will tell you all sorts of amazing "little known facts" about various members and their intriguing histories. My wife was even fascinated by the guide's stories. The film is also a "must see" item.

Very conveniently located near Main Street and Baseball Hall of Fame. Free parking and responsive owner. Perfect for teenagers walking back to hotel on their own. Comfortable beds and clean room.
The location was the only thing about this overpriced hotel that was good. It is right next door to the Baseball Hall of Fame. This was my main reason for booking this place. Close proximity to everything.
It was with steps of the Baseball Hall of Fame and downtown. Across the street from a great place to get coffee and croissants. The hotel itself was well kept but it is a "historic" building...not a fancy chain hotel. We were greeted by a friendly man (owner?) and were given a nice room. Parking was convenient in the back of the hotel. Overall, it satisfied our needs.
Well maintained hotel with nicely furnished room, comfortable beds and linens. Hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Many guests enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as well as the nice complimentary breakfast.
Hotel was only 4 miles from Cooperstown which has some nice restaurants and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
I particularly liked the welcoming conversation and breakfast on the porch. The staff was so cheerful and helpful, even accommodating my need to eat gluten free. The location is very nice too - great view of the lake and only 8 min from downtown Cooperstown with all its activities (restaurants, baseball hall of fame etc).
Unique hotel combination including a great restaurant with terrific lake views. It was our favorite restaurant for the week we stayed in Cooperstown. The hotel has more of a motel-ish feel to it but the rooms have all been renovated and exceptionally clean. It is right on the lake with great atmosphere. The staff, esp at the restaurant were awesome - helping set my grandson and I up to fish a bit - and the fishing was good. And its a block away from downtown and the Baseball Hall Of Fame.
It was very close to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown which made our trip more enjoyable since we didn’t have to spend a lot of time in the car to go to and from places. GREAT breakfast! Probably the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Coffee was good too at the coffee station. I loved the little “market” they have.
Room was very clean. Hotel is within walking distance of Doubleday Field and Baseball Hall of Fame. Staff was friendly at check-in. Price of stay was reasonable.
