Staff were very friendly and helpful, both via Line chat and in-person. Location of the hotel is good - about 2-3 stops from Taichung Train Station (via bus), very close to the Taichung Park and Yizhong Street Night Market. There's a water dispenser (hot, warm, cold water) along with mugs/ coffee and tea sachets on each level too.
It calls itself a hostel, but really it feels like a hotel with the size of the rooms and the fact you get an electric kettle, tea, and mugs, as well as a minifridge to put food or drinks if you get them. It's also in a good location near the Taichung train station, and near a lot of the main tourist attractions in Taichung city (such as Miyahara and the park). Staff also was really nice and helpful.

Didn't realize the taichung mrt line is no where near this location. Probably can consider look for hotel near the mrt line if your budget allow.
High-quality hotel room in a good location close to the Taichung train station. Get the breakfast buffet! Staff is nice and helpful. There is free laundry on-site. Will be returning!
Micasa is a great hotel to stay in should one come to visit Taichung. The location is a stone's throw away from Taichung train station, and there are plenty of buses available to take you where you want to go. The hotel is clean and my stay comes with free breakfast for each night's stay. Oveall, for the price, I think it's a great hotel and I will definitely come back should I visit Taichung again.
It is very convenient because the hostel is really close to the Taichung Train Station. Staffs were really nice. And after I checked out, they even let me keep the luggage at the counter because I wanted to wander around the city before leaving. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Location was excellent. Just beside the Taichung train station and with food options and convenience stores within walking distance.
Rooms were clean with snacks, coffee & tea, amenities, and bottled water provided daily.
Parking is available within walking distance from the hotel.
