Overall experience was very good and more than expected, we got upgraded to a sweet at arrival, room was clean, with no noise. Breakfast was excellent. Service great.
All personnel were so kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend midtown for any one coming to istanbul looking for a good stay near to everything. I finally would thank especially Ismail, Yusuf, Funda, Muhammet (trainee), Eda! Look to see you next time!

Location was strategic as it was near a metro stop. However, the hotel was not forthcoming about the heavy construction going right next door so there was a lot of dust throughout the days we stayed in the hotel. It is a very tiny hotel and the photos on the website are deceiving. There is no view whatsoever, and the room is so small where you cannot open your luggage properly. Staff wise - we did not find them to be genuine and sincere and here's why: They offered to book a PRIVATE airport taxi transfer for us from the airport to the hotel (and probably get some commission/cut from it which is fine). The so-called PRIVATE airport taxi transfer was a failure as it turned out to be organised touting where the touters wait for you and many other guests from other hotels at the airport exit, then they disappear for a long time as they call for taxi drivers. As a result, this was pure chaos, where we ended up rushing out from the airport after collecting our luggage thinking our taxi was waiting for us only for us to stand in the cold outside with our luggage with no clear answer from the touters how long we would have to wait. This went on for more than half an hour where we stood waiting helplessly, and asked them if the taxi was here, if the taxi was on the way etc. The touters were dismissive and nonchalant about things so we decided to not go with this so-called PRIVATE airport taxi transfer we were promised and decided to call our own uber, which arrived in less than 4 mins. We understand that things like that may happen, and the hotel is not at fault for this, although there seems to be gaps between what was communicated vs what happened. What we really found to be off-putting however was how they kept harping on this, giving us inconsistent answers and in fact trying to gaslight us regarding this. 1) The receptionist who greeted us when we arrived in our uber mentioned that the chaos was due to changes in weather and so there was traffic jam.
