First and foremost - the staff is amazing, you will feel welcome like royalty. Second....great breakfast! Third. The location....quiet at night but one block from the nightlife, restaurants and waterfront. Fourth....the ambiance...the place itself is a little run down and could use some updating but feels warm and comforting...peaceful. Plus, it it was updated, then the price would go up.

The signages arent great.
The signages arent great. Its hard to figure out exactly where the museum is, the hours, etc inside the castle. The information on google isnt 100% accurate with the reality. I would say - go to the castle, then it is not ONE museum. There are many little ones. And one main one. They are all inside the castle for sure. You just have to find them as you explore the castle. Its actually great fun! After you do that - the castle has a whole new meaning. I was lucky to be able to see a jazz concert in the castle. If you get a chance to see a show, opera, ballet, concert - IT IS SO WORTH IT. The acoustics of the amphitheatre and the setting is stunning.

Recently renovated hotel 1 min walking to the marina where all restaurants and shops are located, 10 mins walking to the ferry port going to Greece and Bodrum castle.
Very hospitable and helpful owner, extremely comfortable beds, shiny & clean room and bathroom.
There's also a small pool and rooftop terrace for late night drinks.
Perfect choice for those who want a small room to sleep after a long day cruising or exploring the city.
The property is in the center, very close to bodrum castle and Marina, just 6-7 mins by Uber and 20 mins walk. The hotel staff was really nice, especially Iki was amazing, he always welcomed us with a big smile on his face and helped us in booking taxis for local travel and also for Alacati. The ladies at the reception were also very nice.

The value for the money, the location, and the hotel staff (especially Khan(?)) are great. The breakfast has a very wide selection of fresh foods and fruits. Easy, short walk to bodrum beach bars and restaurants and Bodrum Castle.
The location is perfect , in the middle of Bodrum City Center , few min walking to Bodrum Castle, Museum, Marina , old shopping avenue and the bus station .

Firstly thanks to Dilek and Sunday for their help during our stay. Dilek and Sunday were the only members of staff who could speak English. Dilek was always around and easily contactable via Whatsapp, dealing with any issues promptly. Sunday was helpful with parking and luggage, he was very friendly.
The hotel is located on the Marina. A very lively and busy area with plenty of restaurants and cafe's. Bodrum castle and the bazaar are within walking distance.
Everything was perfect. Location is central, the hotel is on the main promenade, but it's still quiet in the room. Beach is near, Bodrum castle as well as good restaurants, bars and shops. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff working there. I had great communication with guy named Can. He helped me with everything, recommended me some good places to visit while in Bodrum, organized my transfers and many more. All in all i really enjoyed my stay in Akkan hotel and would definitely book it again.
The location of the hotel was perfect, it’s near the city center and Bodrum Castle. You can easily walk there, we didn’t use taxis at all. The pool was very clean and the sunbeds were comfortable. The beds are fine and the bathroom had running water and hairdryer.
The rooms are bright and well furnished with comfortable beds.
