I love this place - the staff, the people, the owner, the decor! I felt like a princess and everything is beautiful and the people are kind and welcoming - they also put money back into Medina and committed to giving back to the people of Tunisia
The hotel is perfectly located at the main entrance of Tunis' old medina. Taxis can be found a few metres away. Policemen are staying day and night close to the entrance which made me feel very safe.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and well-informed. The breakfast is good and offers a good range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day.
Location perfect. Very friendly staff (M. Marwa, Mr.Khalil ). All did their best to ensure everything was top notch and gave much needed information about whereabouts even on food. The beautiful upgrade was a very nice gesture . Close to a lot of shops &cafes, but still quite with nice views on the lake and mountains. Tunisia mall is near. Easy to reach old Medina, sidibousaid, & Carthage . Comfortable bathrooms. Friendly staff everyone especially Aziz,Isam.
Very affordable hotel in the medina of Tunis. Room is clean and spacious with lots of traditional decorative elements but pretty basic. Not sure why it's listed as a 5 star hotel online but it's really not. Regardless, it was a great stay and good value for the price. Do take advantage of the hamman, it's private and very affordable.
can’t describe how proud I were to see such an hotel in the Medina of Tunis. I have been there with my non Tunisian husband and this hotel made me feel so proud and satisfied
Delicious breakfast! Room was clean, and bathroom had lovely smelling shampoo and body wash with large cozy towels. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in the medina but near the entrance and easy to find. The hotel, which was formerly a residence, is beautiful and we enjoyed talking with the owner and learning some of its history. We plan to return to Tunisia and will definitely stay here again.
One of the best places we have ever stayed in during our travels. The hotel is beautiful, historic and in the middle of the Tunis medina - wonderful location. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.
