I very much appreciated the day staff especially Mohamed and Nada. They were very kind and very helpful with everything from breakfast to directions and so on. And they were nice enough to upgrade my room b/c Sami had put me in a bed chamber right above the kitchen (lots of noise). The second room I stayed in was very comfortable and enjoyable excepting the pillows which were too fat.

This is my first visit to Tunisia in mid Jan 2025 and had enjoyed my 5 night stay in Kyriad Prestige city center hotel. It is walking distance to Old Medina and not far from the highway by car. The receptionists - Hadil and Meriem are extremely helpful in getting us a tour guide in a private car for a day tour. Overall the breakfast is good, the bed is hard & comfortable and the room is clean & spacious. There is a bakery shop next to hotel. walking distance to carrefour and monoprix.

Whether you’re after funky threads or a cold drink, the medina is the place to go. Amid the narrow alleyways and crumbling buildings of a bygone era, Tunis’ old town is packed with souk stalls and shisha cafés. Start at the Bab el Bahr gate to explore the maze of streets that harbour these local hangouts, as well as elaborately tiled mosques and ancient bathhouses.
Dar Ben Gacem is such a unique hotel from which to explore Tunis. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the souks within the old medina walls, and about the same time to get outside the walls. You get transported back centuries being in the old neighborhood and house (updated for modern needs of course). The daily breakfast is a special treat, with local seasonal fruits and whatever main egg dish the staff wants to make that day (shakshuka, omelet, etc).

Royal Victoria Hotel showcases Tunis colours which is refreshing and exotic for me. The location is excellent to go into the Medina and the city centre.
Excellent Luxury hotel in a very quiet edge of the Medina. Very peaceful retreat in a great location in Tunis. The bathroom was great. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud.
The Dar Hamouda guesthouse was a perfect oasis for our visit to Tunis. The Hamoudas are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, they were always available to answer our questions, and made sure we had an excellent stay. The hotel is right in the medina, surrounded by delicious restaurants and beautiful streets. The rooms are perfectly quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Delicious breakfast! Room was clean, and bathroom had lovely smelling shampoo and body wash with large cozy towels. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in the medina but near the entrance and easy to find. The hotel, which was formerly a residence, is beautiful and we enjoyed talking with the owner and learning some of its history. We plan to return to Tunisia and will definitely stay here again.
One of the best places we have ever stayed in during our travels. The hotel is beautiful, historic and in the middle of the Tunis medina - wonderful location. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.
