The location is perfect, near the center. The rooms are very comfortable, and super clean. Free coffee and cold water in the lobby. Staff are very nice, and helped us with any questions. Laundry service is amazing and quick.

This boutique hotel was perfect for staying in Chiang Mai.
It takes 5 min walk to the old town.
Everyone from the staff has been very polite and friendly. In the reception you can ask anything and they will happily help you. The room was quite big, the pool was very refreshing. There are also coffee, tea, water and bananas at the self service bar.
We were rely enjoying breakfast, very tasty and a lots of vegetables and fruits.

The Tha Phae gate dates back to 13th to the 18th century is one of the most famous landmarks in Chiang Mai where you can feed a lot of friendly pigeons and take some pictures. It is one of the gates to enter the Old City. As initially the only gate to the fortress built to protect the city from Burmese invasion, Tha Phae Gate is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Chiang Mai.
Basically you’re going to love everything the staff is really friendly and they are always taking care of you. I could check in before and it was amazing after a long bus trip from Bangkok. Fred is really friendly and helpful. He offered me coffee in the morning when I was waiting for my trip van. You are going to feel like home. It really worth the price you’re paying and it also has a really nice location, near by the temples and most of the attractions, restaurants and the Tha Pae Gate.
The location is excellent. It is near Tha Pae Gate and close to everything within the Old City. A lot of restaurants, massages and laundromat around the area.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Thapae. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location, just a short walk from Tha Pae Gate and many delicious restaurants. We loved the convenience of being able to walk to the night market and bring our food back to our room. The staff were very attentive and provided us with all the necessary utensils. The room was spotless and well-equipped. The small but clean pool was a big hit with our kid, who enjoyed swimming even on cooler days.
Just the perfect location for our stay. Perfect for travellers who are in a budget. 2 minutes walk to Tha Pae Gate and a great area for the night life.
