They were very welcoming and accommodating. Giving us a number of suggestions for walks and places to eat. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and set us up for a days walking.
The room was sizeable and clean, and a good amount of cupboards/drawers.

The location is perfect - overlooking the lake, the emblematic bridge and the church, and a view of the Triglav itself from the pool and spa. It is also right next to the bus station, very easy to get to for those using public transportation. The rooms are simple (as it is an eco-hotel) but fully equipped, stylish, beautifully decorated (each with Slovenia mountain peaks carved in the woodwork on the wall), clean and comfortable; mine had a spectacular view from the balcony that was a joy to wake up to. The staff members are extremely helpful, warm and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, with an abundance of choices. There is a chef who prepares the most delicious and soft omelettes I have ever eaten in my life. Lunch was scrumptious: a delicate sweet potato and pumpkin soup and a fresh fillet of Bohinj trout, cauliflower mash and leek. But the best part was most definitely the spa... Don't miss the experience! I got a wonderful herbs bundle massage with Sasha and took full advantage of the relaxing wellness facilities (guests can use them for two hours each day, booking in advance). I will never forget the indescribably delicious smell of the aromatherapy showers... Overall, a wonderful, memorable, 5* stay from start to finish.
