We were there for Metallica concert, distance to Ullevi Stadium was amazing, after 2 days concert, it was very easy to access back hotel. Apart from the distance to stadium, hotel location is very good, easily accessible to many points of interests. Breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean. We had the room on the street side but even after the concerts, there was no noise, so sound insulation was very good. Staff was very helpful and smiling. Also bonus, it was perfect to listen some Metallica songs even in the lobby!

We chose Scandic Opalen due to its proximity to Ullevi stadium where we attended the Coldplay concert. Very satisfied with our stay here. Comfortable and clean rooms. A rich and tasty buffet breakfast. Most importantly, very friendly, warm and helpful reception staff. Very easy check in and check out. I would definitely stay in Scandic Opalen again.
Location was excellent. Close to the station and trams. So many restaurants and pubs around the hotel. We wanted to be close to the Ullevi stadium which indeed it was! The breakfasts were unbelievable so many choices and everything fresh!
