The hotel is a small family owned hotel. The owners including son (he did a very good job at checkin) are very friendly and helpfull. The room itself was good and quite. The bath clean and with no issues - not that big but big enough.
The breakfast is of good quality and you can get warm breakfast - fried eggs and bacon.
From the hotel you are in a 5 minutes walk at the harbor where the ferryboat to Visingsö starts.
Public Parking is available close by. And if you provide the number to the hotel staff they arrange that you can park for free.
Located next to Bunn Lake in Gränna, 10 km from Grenna Museum, Bauergården features a common terrace where you can enjoy views of the garden. A communal sauna offers relaxation.

Bauergården is in a beautiful rural setting near a lake. The property is well maintained. The breakfast buffet was ample - not quite as extensive as some of the other properties we stayed at in Sweden, but provided more than sufficient and definitely far exceeded my expectations by North American standards. Lots of healthy, fresh options. Good assortment of teas and juices. Loved being able to sit outside on the patio to eat breakfast and soak in the beautiful setting.

An overnight stop on our holiday! We had 2 rooms booked for our family, both in the lodges but had amazing views of the lake! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, a fantastic buffet with a huge range of food on offer, and the setting was so lovely again eating breakfast overlooking the lake. Lots of parking, and easy access to the local town meant for a lovely stay.

Have never heared anything as kind as last midnight, arriving 4+hours after registering times. "Would you like to have something from kitchen?I could find you something" . Well, mr.. My heart melt! The house was welcoming (just like arriving home!) and our room was lovely (no TV! Perfect! Who needs tv in bedroom?). It was so quiet to sleep and breakfast was good and yard was nice. Absolutely want to come back!
