It's real old style and it's a HOTEL. Unlike the big brand accommodation, which no longer resemble hotels. It's Clean, Comfortable, and Conveniently located. (So it meets my 3C approach to accommodation).
Breakfast was nice and the breakfast room was beautiful.
I'd recommend Grand Hornan to anyone and I'd stay there again.

The one thing that immediately stood out was the flat's irreproachable cleanliness - and I am picky! This included the dishes and cookware. The location is slightly remote from the centre but Uppsala is not very big and the walk alongside the canal and through the city park is wonderful. Everything was working properly in the flat - including a terrific wifi - and the bed was comfortable. I did not have a chance to check the laundry room because I did not need it during my stay, but its presence is also a very good point!
The apartment had all necessities needed and is located conveniently near the city park. Employees are very friendly and do a superb job. Check in was very easy and explained well without any contact required. The furniture is quite modern and in good condition.
Very good location: close to city center, underground city parking nearby. Awesome view on castle and cathedral from our superior room on the 7th floor. Large selection of dishes for breakfast. Polite and helpful staff.
