location is perfect, downhill 10 minutes and you are in center, breakfast is amazing, rooms are nice, clean and comfy. Staff is super and restaurant is great, food was so good. wifi worked without problem. there is enough parking and charging places for EV.

What a wonderful hotel. This is the perfect place to stay in Are. There is a short walk to the ski lifts, just enough to warm up your muscles, and you can ski almost back to the hotel at the end of the day even when the streets are clear of snow.
This was a last minute ski trip with my son and we'd never been to Sweden before so didn't know what to expect. The hotel exemplified the concept of Hygge - it was warm, cosy, stylish and contemporary. Our room was a good size for a ski resort and even had its own drying cupboard for wet ski gear. There was plenty of hot water for a bath, the toiletries were excellent, there were tea and coffee making facilities and lots of hooks for skiwear.
The breakfasts were unbelievably good. We ended up having about four courses every morning. With a range of mueslis, fruits, nuts, seeds, yoghurt, porridge, fabulous breads, cheeses, cold meats before we started on the cooked breakfast. Coffee was plentiful, service with a smile.
The food in the wine bar was also excellent and we had a delicious dinner there one evening.

The location, view, ambiance and staff all were great. Oh yes and the weather helped too.
Dinner and breakfast with the best possible view over mountains and the lake.
We had a room with the same view, so if possible try to choose a room marked with the view you want.
Even the fact that you get a real key is part of the ambiance, it simply all fits together.
