The location is excellent. Walk 5 minutes uphill to the main square, restaurants, the museums and historic churches; walk downhill to a lane with small wine-bars, pizzerias and cafes. Our room was quite spacious, with clothes-hanging space, a sofa, comfortable double-bed and a coffee maker. The only staff we ever saw was the cleaner, access codes and details were sent via whatsapp.

The Council is a charming hotel in a historic building in the heart of Sibiu's Old Town with terrific views onto Piața Mică (Small Square), the Bridge of Lies and Council Tower. The room we'd booked was supposed to have air conditioning, but it didn't work so they upgraded and moved us to a spacious suite that was very grand. The room rate included a very good, full breakfast with choice of eggs. We were grateful they accommodated our request to have breakfast served earlier so we could catch a morning bus to Astra Museum.
Location was perfect, around corner from restaurants and at foot of steps leading to Bridge of Lies and the small square and the alternative medieval ramp walk to the big square. Apartment had everything - full kitchen and a washer with great A/C. Owner Adrian was great guy and very responsive. We stayed four nights and will return!

The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable, and in terms of cleanliness I can say that it is immaculate. The place is quiet and perfectly located, exactly at the Bridge of Lies. One of the best restaurants in town is a few steps away. The host was as always very kind and gave us clear instructions to check in as easily as possible. It is the third time we stay here and we are very satisfied.
This hotel was perfectly located near the Bridge of Lies. We had a small apartment on the second floor - the rooms were large! There are some nice feature for TV viewing and listening to music. The bathroom is especially nice and toiletries provided are very good. We were comfortable here for our 4 night stay. It's in a very convenient location for shopping and dining.
Beautiful apartment in an amazing location! A stones throw to the bridge of lies and both squares. The staff were super nice! Was only 10-15min walk from the train station.
