When we booked we ask for early check in, arrived around 13.00 and no room avail, fair enough check in is 15.00 so we asked to check in and then they let us know when room was ready, they said not allowed come back at 15.00, there was no que at 13.00 but when we came back at 15.00 there was at least 15 people in front to check in, crazy all hotels check you in when you arrive regardless of room ready or not
We also requested , double bed and checked at check in & they said yes it was, but ended up a twin room, after waiting behind 15 people checking in we could not be bothered in going back to reception so suffered it
The hotel is advertised as refurbished but it is so so dated , although clean & tidy so I assume the refurbishment was a repaint .
At nearly 300 euro's its very overpriced, I guess most people there were on a package tour paying half that which would be a fair price .
breakfast was very good for a four star

everything was super except a few hiccups with wifi
Lovely apartment in a great area of Vilamoura Marina. Great service from the VAP Team. Very helpful before we arrived, when we arrived and during our time in the apartment and area. Felt very secure and safe. Used the associated News restaurant as well, which was also very good, great service and excellent food. Vilamoura Marina is a top area with lots of lovely restaurants and great bars. The apartment also had access to a lovely private swimming pool and garden area which overlooked the marina.
EVERYTHING. Such a wonderful place to stay, right at the Vilamoura Marina. All staff were helpful and pleasant folks. Location is walking distance to everything.
The location right at Vilamoura marina could not be any better. Literally across the road from the marina. So easy and quick access to all the bars, restaurants and various entertainment that’s locally available.
The room was spacious. The balcony provided a great view.

Large apartment, located 2 minutes walk from Vilamoura marina. 3 bathrooms, 2 large bedrooms and ample space for a family. Balcony had sun from late morning until around 8pm. (Late June). Large pool on site. Short walk around the marina to two beaches. We loved it, would definitely return. Manned reception and great communication. Nothing was trouble. Small supermarket is 1 minute walk. Very friendly.
