Staff was extremely helpful and the room was comfortable. One of the best breakfast spreads I’ve seen as well. Thank you for giving us the recommendation to visit Chalet Biester - we don’t think we would’ve visited it at all if not for that.

Everything about Storytellers Villas is magical and was the best experience I've ever had in hosted lodging. The host Christina, and attendant Bhwani, went out of their way to ensure a perfect stay. The atmosphere is peaceful, the grounds perfectly maintained with water features, ivy, ferns, resort style lighting, and total privacy. My villa was everything I want in a stay, spotless, comfortable, and immersed in culture of the area. I will go back to Storytellers and Sintra many times in the future. It is worth the travel from the states. I will always be grateful for such a memorable experience.

The property was very clean. The bed was SO comfortable and everything was very clean and tidy. It had a great feel to it as well, cozy and it felt like we were staying at an old manor house, with many unique and interesting decor items. The PS5 was a great addition (our son loved having it to play on after a long day of sightseeing). The bathroom shower and facilities were very posh feeling and the shower was good and hot and great shower pressure (fun to have coloured lights in the shower as well!) Modern (tech) amenities made it really super.

Great location, short walk to the Sintra train station. Nice bakeries nearby for breakfast and there is also a supermarket very close by. The studio was well set up, I traveled with my sister and we both felt like we had our own private space even though it was still all connected. We only stayed two nights so we didn't get to use the kitchen but it looked well supplied.
Loved the location so close to the Sintra train station and also where you catch bus 434 and 435.
A great kitchen for preparing some meals and a covered outside terrace to eat at if desired. Also a small clothesline on the terrace.

This was our second time staying at the property and we will definitely visit again. Walking distance to everything. We drove a rental car and the property had free onsite parking which is rare (but absolutely needed) in Sintra. Staff were very helpful and friendly and property was comfortable and spacious.
We did not pay for the breakfast, but ate at Ca.fe coffee house right across from the Sintra train station and it was wonderful.
A most unique, boutique hotel. Conveniently located across from the Sintra train station. Full breakfast was served in its cafe on the ground floor. The host & hostess were lovely people; friendly, helpful, accommodating. A great value for a very reasonable price.
