The staff was exceptional. They came out to greet us and moved our car for us. The parking is very difficult in the old town and they took care of it all. What a relief! The complimentary breakfast was great.

What’s not to like about wandering up the wide drive of a palace and knowing you have bed for the night? From the hand-painted walls and ceilings to the serene swimming pool that offers a glimpse of the sea, there is just so much here to love. The staff is extremely welcoming, kind and funny. It was divinely quiet and so very comfortable.

Traveling in a another country can be a little daunting. Maria and Pedro made my stay so much better and made me feel like family.
I arrived much later than planned and Maria drove me to a private parking area so I would not get lost and even helped me squeeze into a tight parking spot. Pedro, her son has a fascinating background that he shared while we waited for food. Arriving late, Pedro ordered food for delivery. I was able to access everything I needed to get around Sintra. The town is just a short walk down the hill and the location could not be more perfect.

The 17th century charm was maintained with interesting artwork while the individual rooms were updated with some pretty cool tech. Charlie, their huge dog, is so friendly.
