Centrally located, clean compact bedroom with fresh towels and room cleaning each day, good water pressure. Staff at breakfast were very friendly & welcoming. There was a good selection of cakes, fruit & nice coffee served at breakfast. Thanks so much for the kind gift on arrival to mark our 20 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in annex which is a few meters from reception.

The double room was spotless, with beautiful furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable with luxurious pillows. Loved the rituals products in the bathroom. The staff were fabulous. couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. it could not have been better....we had a freshly cooked, made to order omelette....delicious. The welcome drink in the restaurant which we had with dinner that evening was much appreciated. The hotel organised a shuttle taxi to the airport for us which was really great. Location of hotel could not be better. We will definitely book again in the near future.

Beautiful Rossio train station has service to Sintra. The square is large with many flowering purple trees in the spring. Lots of good restaurants nearby, both moderate and higher end. Area is very flat and easily walkable.

Great location, few stops from Rua Augusta, Rossio Square etc. Room and bathroom a bit old-fashioned, but clean. Comfortable bed. Lift is a great advantage, especially if you have a room on upper floors. Very good price. Nice and helpful staff.
The apartment was quite cozy, situated on the ground floor, a relief after walking up three quarters of a hill. The little window that opens to the street was nice and picturesque. The apartment came equipped with an iron, ironing table and other cooking utensils which came in helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The area is quiet, very close to the Santa Apolonia train station (only a 20 minute walk), the Rossio Train station (about a 40 minute walk), the Alfama District and Miraduro Graçia.
The apartment is in an excellent location about 1.5km from Rossio square. The bus station is literally in front of the entrance of the building. A very well-equipped store is 50m away.
The apartment is clean, tidy and cozy. The staff are very helpful and polite. Because our flight back was late at night, they let us leave our luggage in a safe place after our check-out.
Check-in was easy, greeted by Raphael who was polite and provided all the information needed. The hotel was spotless and all the staff friendly. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Easy 15 min walk down to the Rossio/bottom of Lisbon which we enjoyed. The big park nearby (Edwards Park) was a favourite and we visited the botanical gardens for an hour within the park, would recommend!
Location is great, close to Rossio train station (where train to Sintra starts from) and at the edge of the main restaurant area and a short walk down to the river. Great views from the rooftop bar and pool area. Breakfast was great with a huge selection of fruit, salad, pastries and breads and hot food. Option available to bring your breakfast tray to your room. Kitchen in Apt well stocked if you wanted to cook there (we didnt). The staff were very efficient and friendly. The bus to the airport has its terminus outside the hotel

The hotel is very close to the Rossio Square, so perfectly located. Our room was spacious and tastefully done, with a good bathroom and an excellent shower. The shower gel has an exquisite scent! Our breakfast was delightful every morning: the selection of fruit, juices, teas, coffees, breads, cheeses and cakes was excellent, as was the variety available for the typical "English" breakfast. I had great fun using the pancake machine, and savouring them with the different jams and nutella on offer :) We will definitely be back!
Breakfast on the roof was spectacular, good choice of food and well stocked. Bed very comfortable and our room was light and airy. Internal rooms are not as nice (our kids room ha ha). Location in Rossio is great, easy walking to main districts in Lisbon. Staff all very helpful

Lisbon is the perfect balance.
Lisbon is the perfect balance. Small enough to be walked in a morning yet culturally rich with museums, art galeries, cultural centers and theatres. It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and enough antiquities to satisfy any budding historian. Generally a safe city but watch your bags and wallets as pickpockets and opportunist thieves do operate, often around Rossio and especially on the notorious number 28 tram, where the pickpockets operate in organised teams of 4-5 people. Keep your purse zipped in your bag and your bag firmly over your shoulder and you will not have any problems.

Found the people of Lisbon to be very patient, polite and friendly. Took their time, tried to understand a problem, and give all the help they could. Easy going pace of life, a most beautiful city. Our particular thanks to Vera who worked the Lisbon Information Kiosk on Rossio Sq. her input every day was like having a personal guide. Pity the trains had to go on strike.....but then how else will they get heard!!
