There is everything you need to spend a few days exploring Lisbon.
The location is good, 10 minutes walk to Santa Apollonia station, 15 minutes to Commerce Square, 20 minutes to Rossio station. There are bus stops nearby. The apartment is located in Alfama, but not very high, which is also a plus.
There is a set of cooking utensils to cook something simple, microwave oven, stove, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a comfortable sofa.
Check-in without problems, keys were in the box.
Breakfast was outstanding, with the dining room overlooking Avenida Liberdade. For exploring Lisbon the location is within easy reach of all central locations and right next door to Rossio station for a journey to Sintra. The character of the hotel has been retained with various items of historical interest spread along the stairwells. Very interesting artefacts regarding the history of the hotel.
The location of the Rossio Plaza Hotel was perfect. Really close to the Santa Justa Lift and all the restaurants on the main strip. The front desk staff greets you with Port Wine and a Pasteis de Nata. Our room was really cute with lots of nice touches.
Couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to begin our Portugal trip. David and Catarina made our stay a memorable one from booking a car for transport to and from the airport, communicating ahead of our stay, leaving lovely surprises for my husband’s birthday and accommodating our early check in. Their efforts were most appreciated. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and had the most beautiful view over Rossio Square. Perfect location for exploring Lisbon.
Excellent location. Quite close to Rossio Square. The apartment is equipped with every appliances, kitchenette, utensils and cutlery. Property manager provided detailed information about directions and tips (taxi prices etc.) prior to our travel.
Very clean, comfortable and large apartment over two levels. Communication from the host was excellent with many good ideas for local shops, restaurants and things to do. Nice sunny terrace upstairs. Near metro, tram (if you can squeeze on!) and an easy walk to squares, Rossio station, not much further to river front
The apartment was centrally located roughly 15 min walk from the old city centre / Rossio train station (good for day trip to Sintra). Clean and spacious on a quiet side street. Washing machine facilities ++ feature for us
The host met us 2 minutes from arriving, and was very fun ! Also a small bottle of wine and water left on the table to welcome us. Nice layout and the bathroom was a good size for the small apartment. Nice Juliet balcony to look out onto the street. Very central and convenient for cafes, restaurants, bars and local stores. A minute walk to the tram stop and 4 minutes to the metro - be sure to get off at Baixa-Chiado and not Rossio which we thought was closer (but is very uphill !)
Excellent location - the apartment is so close to the Rossio stations and walking distance to so many places. It was a nice and quiet location, so we could get good rest after long days of adventures. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Margarida, who met us to drop off the keys, was very informative and gave really good recommendations.
Hotel is located 15 minutes drive away from the Lisbon Praça do Rossio which is Lisbon's most lively area. We did a stop over for one night and I would recommend to anyone who prefers to stay close to the city but not within the center. We took a uber to Praça do Rossio and it was much cheaper than taking a taxi. Facilities of the Hotel was good enough for a short stay.

Generally a safe city but watch your bags and wallets as pickpockets and opportunist thieves do operate, often around Rossio and especially on the notorious number 28 tram, where the pickpockets operate in organised teams of 4-5 people
Lisbon is the perfect balance. Small enough to be walked in a morning yet culturally rich with museums, art galeries, cultural centers and theatres. It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and enough antiquities to satisfy any budding historian. Generally a safe city but watch your bags and wallets as pickpockets and opportunist thieves do operate, often around Rossio and especially on the notorious number 28 tram, where the pickpockets operate in organised teams of 4-5 people. Keep your purse zipped in your bag and your bag firmly over your shoulder and you will not have any problems.
