Service was excellent, Bonnie did a great job for housekeeping.
Water, fresh fruit, soap, coffee and other amenities supplied when we don't always see these with large chains like Marriott, Hilton etc.. The lodging is in an area within short walking distance of cafés and restaurants, very typically Portuguese but many speak English.

Quinta da Regaleira
Forget the day’s jam-packed itinerary. Once you enter Quinta da Regaleira, you’ll be lost in the palace and its extensive gardens – exploring a web of grottos, water features, secret tunnels and secluded nooks. Built in the vision of Carvalho Monteiro, the grounds pay homage to the mysterious world of Freemasonry, alchemy and the Knights Templar.

A great site with multiple routes through the extensive grounds. The Initiation well goes down steps for several stories, emerging below with a view through a waterfall. We walked here from our accommodations and it made a nice day out. Take a snack or water as the onsite restaurant is very pricey.

We visited 4 castles in Sintra - Quinta de Regaleira, Pena Palace, Moorish Scales and Monseratte and definitely the Regaleira was our favorite for the intricate architecture and the thoughtful details and stunning views from each nook around the gardens and the palace.
The gardens are magnificent and very well maintained.
So much beauty everywhere, we felt like in a fairy tale. :)

Veeeery quiet. At night! But be ready for other guests to wake up early in the morning :)
Walking distance (if you like walking) to the Quinta da Regaleira. In theory, to the La Pena castle too.
Breakfast is fairly good, but mostly sweet. Keep in mind if you don’t like sweets.
Staff is very welcoming and helpful.
Ah, forgot. Mattress was good enough, so we had a decent sleep!
Superb location - right beside Quinta da Regaleira, with free parking for hotel guests a short distance away. The hotel staff were all so very friendly and helpful; commendable service attitudes. The room was also beautiful and comfortable.
This is a very well located Guesthouse a street over from the main Sintra Train Station. Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. The room is a good size with supplied amenities. There are a choice of great restaurants within a 2 minute walk radius. We had a car and parking was free and close. It is a pleasant 25 minute walk to Quinta da Regaleira and a short Uber to Pena Palace. This was a great choice for a short stay in Sintra
Excellent communication and check in. The apartment is in the old town, within walking distance from quinta da regaleira and next to the bus stop for pena palace. Very nicely decorated, excellent view from its two bathrooms.
Lovely property in a beautiful part of Portugal. Good location, within a 10 minute walk of the main part of Sintra old town, and walking distance to Quinta da Regaleira. We had a great stay for a couple of nights. I would stay here again if I was visiting Sintra.
Location, close to Sinatra Historical centre. There are couple of Restaurants nearby and 7-8mins walk to Quinta da Regaleira. Nearby bus stop 434 and 435 (thats goes to Pena Place).
Great apartment in the centre of Sintra, easy access to the Palaces and Quinta da Regaleira. The apartment had everything we needed, comfy beds and great views of the Moorish castle and streets in the old town.
Lovely, absolutely enchanting hotel with a beautifully decorated rooms. Perfect location and walking distance to the centre of town and Quinta da Regaleira. Excellent value for money. Wish we could stay longer.
