What a really lovely stay we had - Only wish we had booked more nights here. The view of the Atlantic Ocean and the sheer tranquility from our room was absolutely amazing. We felt so relaxed. Daily breakfast was delightful - Continental breakfast with some warm selections cooked on request. The bar has the most wonderful cocktails I’ve ever tasted - Be sure to ask about their daily specials! We also really enjoyed the sauna, Turkish bath, and the outdoor pool! Staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful.

The breakfast was really nice. Not far from Ponta Delgada, really handy to go there for dinner.

Sometimes the photos on booking make the place look better than it actually is, with this place it's absolutely the other way around. The pictures don't do this place justice, it is one amazing location and an amazing room with everything you want. It felt like a little paradise just for us and we almost didn't want to leave the nest! The staff were amazing as well.

The property was superb. Small, quiet and beautiful. The view from our room, the pool and the breakfast room was spectacular. The room was spacious and well appointed with a very comfy bed and a great shower. We had a lovely welcome from the staff and they were all very sweet throughout our stay. You can make your own meals in the room, but we ordered the room service each night- it was simple and delicious, not like your typical room service food! The included breakfast was superb. The hotel is perfectly placed for serenity but also a good launch pad for activities on that side of the Island. It was too cool -for us -to swim- but I do regret not using it! There is also a common room open to the pool with couches for reading and relaxing. A note to guests. The road is narrow - like most on the Island-with some local traffic including a local bus! Honk as you go around the corners! When you get to the hotel sign go past it to the next street, turn right, then back up and go back towards the hotel in the opposite direction so you can easily get up the driveway- especially if you have not driven a manual car for some years!

Location is beautiful. Host is very friendly and super flexible with arrival time.

Amazing location in a calm place and yet everything was very close. Good wifi and comfy bed. Super helpful and friendly hosts. Capelas town has many good restaurants and a nice coast.
