Wonderful to stay in Monsanto and really take time to experience the town. Wonderful host that despite speaking little English was very helpful in booking us dinner, making us a beautiful breakfast and transported our bags up and down the hill in her little car. It would NOT be possible to stay in Monsanto without this help it’s just too hilly! Comfy bed, spacious apartment very dark and quiet at night. Easy access to walk to castle first thing in morning. Beautiful views in town

A beautifully decorated and maintained old villa right in the centre of this gorgeous village but quiet at night with a lovely restaurant around the corner.
The lady who greeted us was the warmest, most accommodating host we have experienced. Nothing was too much of an effort.
The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable, air con worked well, wifi was great, a nice breakfast was served at a time of our choosing.

Loved the location - had a nice walk up to Monsanto town. Staff were excellent and very helpful! We had 2 drinks upon arrival in our fridge and the breakfast was absolutely delicious in the garden! Great sized property and easy if you want to do Monsanto and just leave the car at the property as you explore!

It's a fairy tale house, very authentic. Makes you feel like living in a different time. We loved it.
Great communication with our host. The location was easy to find and parking was right out front. The room was clean and had a nice terrace with beautiful views. Easy walk to Monsanto Castle. Breakfast was great with fresh scrambled eggs, toasted country bread, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt and coffee with milk. Fantastic value for the location and the accommodation.
