Prime location, it's on a street in the Bairro Alto that only allows official taxis, so no street noise whatsoever. The hotel towers above the old city with magnificent views over the river (especially from the very nice rooftop bar). The staff is extremely attentive. The rooms are excellent (not all of them have river views of course). This is one of the highest rating Booking hotels and its reputation is well deserved. Snacks available at the hotel and plenty of dinner possibilities within walking distance (from Michelin starred to cheap local, but nonetheless very good). An address to come back to!
