Location is spectacular right in heart of the old town near the castle, churches to visit, the bridge, restaurants etc. Going back in time is wonderful too. The property is beautiful. Pool is fantastic and super chill. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful with a lot of variety of local foods. The cheeses were to die for 😋!

Praia do Barril is fantastic! Great nudist beach. Be sure to try the access point by tourist train to the beach from Pedras del Rei. There's a bus from Tavira bus station to Pedras del Rei, but only on weekdays. Getting a Bolt drive to take you there is also an option. Loved it.

Very welcoming staff at Algartur and available to resolve any issues. The house was nicely equipped, with fresh sheets and towels and kitchenware. Really good location - less than 5min from the ferry to Tavira Island and the center.
The hotel is in a good location on the outskirts of the old town of Tavira. There was lots of parking and the staff were very friendly. The views from the upstairs lounge are amazing - gorgeous sunsets. It was easy to walk into Tavira for dinner or to catch the ferry to Tavira Island.
Breakfast was great as well was dinner buffet, good range of food; location is great, just a shame their private ferry wasn´t operating to take the guests to Tavira Island (only between Easter - October)
We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.
Great location about a 10 minute walk to the main Tavira square, restaurants the main municipal market and dock to catch the ferry to Tavira island. Excellent swimming pool, perfect for my 4 and 9 year old. Quiet peaceful and relaxing, highly recommended for families!

the location was amazing. right on the river front and in the heart of the action. without being noisy. very easy to walk across the river to the many restaurants there or to the ferry to Tavira Island. Bea was very helpful in making dinner reservations and sharing suggestions. breakfast was lovely though we only used it one of two days as we are not hearty breakfast eaters so the 8 euro cost was not a good value for us.
Location is excellent. Minutes walk to bus and train station and ferry for Tavira Island. Breakfast was very good. Staff was outstanding. Always courteous, accommodating and friendly. Room was spacious, airy and clean. Bathtub was long and deep. Premises clean and nicely decorated.
