We stayed in two different rooms during our stay. The larger room (114) that we stayed in was fantastic. Great facilities, coffee and tea, fridge, sunloungers on our terrace.
I loved the breakfast, it provided great variety and was well stocked. The pool area is lovely, and the Italian across the road is lovely. The bar has a great variety of wines, cocktails and drinks, though it is a little on the small side and kind of overlaps with the restaurant.
Location is really a winner. Quiet, but close enough to Albufeira marina / town should you want to pop in. Some lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Overlooking the sea, NAU Sao Rafael Atlantico is an ultra-modern 5-star complex with direct and private access to São Rafael Beach.

The location and access to the private beach was exceptional. The grounds of the resort were clean, beautiful and easy to navigate around. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They also offered shuttles into town a few times per day at no cost. It was a very nice get away from the hustle of the bigger cities on our trip.
