Situated just outside of Chavez and near the Spanish border, this is a perfect jumping-off point for journeys around northern Portugal, and seems to be a hub of activity around the town, especially the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely and had huge portions of regional cuisine. The staff is incredibly nice, and the proprietor is a genial host. Just a great slice of life in northern Portugal.

Location is great . Hotel is clean and interesting building. Staff was exceptional. Restaurant was very good. Pool area and out door lounge was very nice. I would recommend this Hotel if visiting Chaves or nearby.
