This hotel is set up for such easy access, you almost have to stay here just to experience it. All is done with access codes, from the entrance door to your keyless, spotlessly clean, room.
Our only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed, as it was a Sunday night. It was a shame, as it has great reviews, but we did have a pleasant breakfast before our morning departure.
We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Situated on top of a hill of the Nogueira Mountain Range, Pousada de Bragança offers panoramic views of the city and Bragança Castle. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool.

Breakfast was way beyond what someone would expect for a small hotel, better than many 4* I have stayed in. Location is great. Staff was extremely helpful.

Lovely place, very comfortable room with coffee and tea facilities and even dressing gowns. It's about 25 mins walk to the old town of Bragança and there are several restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Extensive continental breakfast.

center of the city. good breakfast. excelente staff
The room was spacious, comfortable and very warm and there was a proper bath, which was a treat. The view of Braganca castle from our balcony was stunning, especially at night.
I enjoyed a swim in the pool and was very pleased that the pool was still open.
Breakfast. Was excellent, with a wide choice and friendly staff, except for one.
You can walk into the town in about 10 to 15 minutes, but there are steep hills to negotiate.
There is a Michelin starred restaurant which we didn't try. We are usually happier with more modest fare.
This lovely little house is beautifully decorated and has a wonderfully central location. Free street parking was available nearby. The house has everything necessary to make cooking from home easy, but also there are restaurants and cafes nearby. Bragança Castle is within walking distance. We were lucky as there was a festival in Bragança while we were there, so we got to go to a free event every night :-)
We liked everything:) Now we've spent over 2 weeks in Portugal, a different place almost every day, I can honestly say it was the best one! In a quiet, traditional granite village, looking historically from the outside but bringing all the comforts of modern home inside. It was without compromising the looks. There was a lot of natural stone and solid wood in fixtures and furniture. Plus some nice antique decor. Lots of space, comfy beds, super clean. It did feel remote but was just 15 minutes drive from Braganca Castle!
