Nikifor, beautifully depicted in the film ‘My Nikifor’, was an outsider artist whose talent was only recognised briefly before his death. Born in Krynica in 1895, he painted on scraps of paper and card, trying to sell his work to passersby. Housed in a quaint turquoise villa, this unmissable museum contains a fabulous collection of Nikifor’s works, scrap books, photographs and personal belongings.
