Enjoyed our 4 night stay in this resort in early July. I booked 2 rooms for my family. The 2 bdrm penthouse (top floor) was spacious and equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and stove. There is a large patio and a laundry line which is useful. They also provide purified water. The Seaview was beautiful, and my husband snorkeled on our last day. There is no elevator so it is important to know this before booking. The landscape with the pool & grotto were well maintained. It’s rainy season so it was overcast most afternoon. The resort’s location is remote so it was great to there is a restaurant. We went to Alona for our diving & it was 15-20 min ride. We ate breakfast and some dinners here. The staff were very nice, respectful, helpful, and friendly. We met the owner and he was friendly. The bar had happy hour offers. It is great that we can use our credit cards without service fee. On Sunday night, there is live music and the singers were very good. The only thing was that there were small ants in the kitchen so don’t leave any open food out.

Comes alive at night, with the beach lined with restaurants. Great place to relax in a beach cafe/restaurant and watch the day go buy. The beach was calm and like a lake (when we were there). So, easy access for snorkeling. Lots of diving and snorkeling companies, but we did not have time to go. I think to truly appreciate the beauty of the Island you need go on a boat tour. Tons of people offering massages.

Alona beach is really for drinking or eating on the beach to view the sea. its very shallow so it isnt great for a proper swim, which is a shame as Pangloa and area is really great, and affordable for Philippines. we love the town.

Beautiful beach, if you don’t mind the tourists. Sort if expensive by comparison. I had a good time there and wish I had stayed longer than 1 night. I wanted to go on the Firefly boat trip and the Chocolate Hills trip, but there wasn’t enough time.

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to Alona beach but the shuttle comes and goes every hour so it wasn’t a big deal. We will definitely be staying here again if we ever go back to bohol
I love the room concept and the cozy atmosphere it gives you. It’s a kind of boutique hotel very relaxing and perfectly located; 8 minutes away from Alona beach and few minutes from the airport. The staff and even the owner are super nice and helpful
The hotel was in great condition, our room was spotless and very clean. They cleaned and made up the room every day with fresh towels which was really appreciated.
The breakfast was a great size and delicious! The staff were lovely as well and always willing to help with anything. I would really recommend staying here if you drive a scooter or are happy to taxi to the main area. It was perfect for us and lovely to stay just outside of Alona beach.
I love the home-like ambiance of the apartment. The room was comfortable, it has airconditioner and fan. Basic needs in cooking were available. Drinking water was always available. Owners are friendly. Surrounding was quiet, very good for relaxing. What I love the most is, it is only 650meters away from the very beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and clean Sun Island Beach away from the noisy and crowded Alona beach.
The hotel is brand new and was literally spotless upon checking in (a first for me in the Philippines). Very nice room and the A/C was dead quiet.
Location is also great, it is possible to walk to Alona beach from the hotel (although I recommend just renting a scooter while you're there).
All things considered this hotel is a very good value for the money, would happily stay here again if I return to Panglao. Definitely recommend this place.
I was traveling with a friend and we had a nice stay at Island World - one night. The villa was simple/basic, clean and spacious. We had a table and chairs inside as well as outside on the patio and we enjoyed sitting outside at night. Staff were all helpful and friendly and directed us well. The location is off the main road running to Alona beach and it was about a 15-20 minute walk to get to the beach. IMO this is a great location as it's quiet in the area of the hotel but you have choices for bars/restaurants/coffee nearby.
The hostel's location is perfect. Only a few minutes walk from Alona Beach and close to many restaurants and bars. The vibe at the hostel is very chill and friendly and the building itself is beautiful. Also, this is the only place I stayed in the Philippines that had hot water for showering which is a huge plus.
I liked how quiet the resort was. I like its proximity to the beach. When you walk left from the hotel you will land on a somewhat secluded part of Alona beach which was nice. We booked an apartment room and it was so big. It could fit 1 family. The room was good for 4 only but I think it could fit 5. It was also nice that they have a kitchen inside the apartment room.
