Enjoyed our 4 night stay in this resort in early July. I booked 2 rooms for my family. The 2 bdrm penthouse (top floor) was spacious and equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and stove. There is a large patio and a laundry line which is useful. They also provide purified water. The Seaview was beautiful, and my husband snorkeled on our last day. There is no elevator so it is important to know this before booking. The landscape with the pool & grotto were well maintained. It’s rainy season so it was overcast most afternoon. The resort’s location is remote so it was great to there is a restaurant. We went to Alona for our diving & it was 15-20 min ride. We ate breakfast and some dinners here. The staff were very nice, respectful, helpful, and friendly. We met the owner and he was friendly. The bar had happy hour offers. It is great that we can use our credit cards without service fee. On Sunday night, there is live music and the singers were very good. The only thing was that there were small ants in the kitchen so don’t leave any open food out.

Great location. I love a good mall and nice food, so I 100% recommend the Island City Mall and especially The Buzz for great food and coffee.
We stayed away from some of the overly westernised, touristy beaches; but of that is your thing, then you will enjoy.

Panglao, Bohol, is a solid choice for travelers seeking a family-friendly beach destination with convenient access by direct flight, especially from places like Seoul. The calm waters and shallow beaches are perfect for children, and there are plenty of nature-based activities to enjoy. However, it falls short in terms of luxurious resort options, and the beaches may not compare to places like Boracay. It s a bit pricy compared to other places in Vietnam like Phu Quoc, and it doesn't have the cultural aspects that Bali have.

It was the end of our vacations, nevertheless we stay 3 nights. Good mood after our previous more rustic (and somehow more genuine) stay in Bohol Island. It's a very touristic village and surroudings but with a lot of opportunities to excursions and/or diving.

Alona beach was a beautiful white sand stretch with gentle surf and shallow wading in crystal clear water. Very clean. Relax and sunbathe or rent a boat with snorkeling gear to explore the reef. Food shops with an excellent menu are right nearby. Mango shakes!
Be sure to also visit Hinagdanan cave and swim in its underground pools. It's cool and refreshing, a great way to beat the heat and escape if you've had too much sun.

It is easy to get around Panglao.
It is easy to get around Panglao. There are various famous restaurants in Panglao, and most of them offer new and delicious food. We ate in the Mosa, Jumbo Crabs, Mist, Barwoo, and many more. Their foods are delicious and authentic, with huge servings, but pricey.
Most of the restaurants are open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you want to eat midnight snacks, it will be very difficult for you to find one at midnight because the majority of the restaurants are closed. You would see some open bars, but if you are not a fan of bars, you may not enjoy it.
You should also try eating the sea urchin. It is delicious and available in the afternoon.
What I don't like in Panglao is the expensive tricabs. The minimum price is 150 pesos, which is for me not ideal.

I loved staying here so much!!!
The owner, Marisol, is such an amazing person. She organized activities and tours for me and the other guests while I was staying. There was a scooter available for me to rent during my stay at a good price. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was always kept clean and tidy. All of the staff were lovely and always happy to help with anything they could.
Great location with Alona beach and plenty of good restaurants in easy walking distance.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Bohol.
We had such an amazing stay. The owners are so nice and sweet. We were already in Panglao and went to Bohol before checking in, and they allowed us to store our bags free of charge. The place is super quiet, away from the busy Alona Beach. The road to reach the accommodation was not the best, but it was not a big deal. They provide complimentary water and coffee. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. AC worked perfectly! Highly recommend staying here!
Very nice hotel to stay. Paolo and Esther were very friendly and helpfulll. They will drive you to all places on Panglao Island on request for a very reasonable charge. Nice bar and swimmingpool inside the hotel's premisses and the breakfast was very good. We were delighted about the peacefull location and serenity within the hotel's area. Just a pearl on a crowdy island which we can strongly recommendate! Thanks guys and hope to see you again.
Everything! Personalized service, very attentive to your needs. Our villa host Darel is the best. He arranged island visit, snorking with dolphin watching and countryside day tour for us which became the highlight of our trip. The hotel is just 15 mins from the new Tagbilaran airport. Easy access to different stores, pharmacy, ATMs and restaurants. They have free shuttle to Alona beach every 30 mins. We are already planning to go back.
