Our stay was really enjoyable, and it was easy to get to the ski field. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the spa pool was perfect for relaxing after hiking and skiing. We’d love to return next year, though we’d prefer a room further from the entrance.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The room and view was beautiful, excellent facilities and very clean and comfortable. We loved that the room was serviced each day, it was such a great surprise when we came back to the room and the room had been serviced. The lovely lady who welcomed us in was so welcoming and nice. We checked out quite early on our last day due the plan to hit the slopes, however needed to come back to change clothes due to the slopes being closed. We were welcomed back into our room with no dramas to change which we were very appreciative of. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, we will definitely be back ☺️

The guest house at Minaret Ridge Retreat is a perfect mix of modern comfort and privacy. The location is superb and provided easy access to both Cardrona and Treble Cone resorts for my ski trip. The hosts go above and beyond, making this an ideal spot for a peaceful and well-located stay in Wanaka. Already planning a summer trip to further explore this amazing spot!
Ideal Wanaka Location! Lakefront view and restaurants just steps away. The room is exceptionally comfortable, well-equipped with kitchen amenities, and boasts a spacious living area. Plus, convenient on-site parking.
The spots of shuttle bus to Cardrona and Treble Cone ski field is just around the apartment is the main reason we choose this accommodation, but later we find everything in it was way beyond our expectations!

Go for a drive up to lake Hayes.
Go for a drive up to lake Hayes. Go for a walk up to the diamond lake lookout, then walk around it. 30 mins approx. Go for a drive up to treble cone or continue onto the end of the road and do the rob roy track. (5 hrs). Beautiful scenery to enjoy along the way and views of Mt Aspiring on a clear day.
