Absolutely stunning property! The little apartments were quite nice and the grounds were spectacular. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we loved hearing all the birds. We were also fortunate enough to chat with Pete, the Fish (owner) for a bit. He is quite the gentleman with a lot of interesting seafaring stories. Could have visited with home all day.

Beautiful stay with the most gracious hosts. Jason was so helpful as we navigated the area and prepared to hike the Tongariro Crossing. The room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and comfy. The wooden spa in the beautiful garden offered the perfect relief after our epic hike. Great breakfasts and conversation with our hosts. They just couldn't do more for us! Sadly, we were not able to take advantage of the world-famous fishing, but hope to get back to the area one day.
