A very interesting, quite expensive, trip across the lake, which, surprisingly, taught us a lot about glowworms. Gets booked up. Favourite sign read; I wish I was a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum, 'Cos how can you be grumpy, When the sun shines out your bum!

This was the perfect location for exploration in 3 directions, up to Milford Sound for a day trip, down to Doubtful sound day trip and across to Te Anau glow worm caves, all of which were worthwhile doing. The hotel was centrally located. Everything went smoothly. Clean room with two queen beds, perfect for us.
