The retreat was very well laid out , quiet and many luxuries. Only stayed 1 night so couldn’t make use of the pool. But otherwise the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast amazing especially to have it in a church.

Pool, Gym, food and a clean hotel good decor . Staff were pleasant and helpful. Free car park which for NZ was a surprise. Located on the river which was a nice setting for dinner despite the bugs.

This is a quirky place that is largely a restaurant, I gathered, with a few rooms upstairs. It is beside an inlet, but the tide (which moves a long way there) seemed to always be out when I was there. The gardens were nice, and the Olde English look of the building was quite fun.

A relatively sheltered spot that's perfect for swimming, Tahunanui is Nelson City's most popular beach. For families, the stretch has its own park, complete with bumper boats, mini golf and go-karts. It's also home to the Natureland petting zoo, where little ones can discover and interact with a variety of animals, such as Kuni Kuni pigs, deer and monkeys.

Spacious motel room, beautifully appointed, full kitchen oven , microwave, bowls, pots and pans. Lovely bathroom, roomy shower, flurry towels, and Soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner all supplied, plus a great hair dryer! Outdoor furniture, a pool, BBQA area, lovely guest laundry, cheerful staff and manager Belinda truly made you feel at home. Handy to the fabulous Tahunanui Beach, handy to everything really, short drive into the city along the waterfront. Really comfortable stay.
In-room facilities were excellent including fully-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, television with streaming services, and a lovely little balcony. It’s a 5 - 10 minute walk to the centre of town, and a short drive to Tahunanui Beach. Loved this place.
We really liked the location which is close to Tahunanui beach. Also the house had plenty of space and it had all the facilities amenities we need. Owners were in upstairs and reachable. Everything has been clearly advised. Nice little hideout back of the house to walking. If we come to Nelson again this would be our first preference 😊

Good location in terms of access to downtown, Tahunanui beach in Nelson and nearby wineries. Also enjoyed eating in the restaurant and greatly appreciated the receptionist helping when car park appeared full on arrival. Also a great base to venture out to Abel Tasman and Cable Bay
Modern clean studio apartment close to Tahunanui beach. Great hosts. Small kitchenette with microwave only but close to local restaurants. Great value and location.
Excellent location by Tahunanui beach. Very comfortable bed. Excellent TV. Availability of pool though we did not have time to use it. Parking right by our unit. Downstairs unit as requested. Very good provision of crockery, glasses, cutlery, toaster, microwave, electric kettle.
