The lights at the park are a must see don't go to NP during the Christmas period without making a trip to see the lights it is so beautiful. Even walking histories have done a You Tube video on the lights in the park.

Visited here during the light festival which was a treat.
Visited here during the light festival which was a treat. A lot of work must go into setting this all up and the crowds they get going round it each night speaks for its self. A great draw card for visitors and well worth the walk.

Location, and with a motorbike I just parked on path outside. Was a Tuesday so bar wasn't loud and it was New Years Day. Walked to Pukekura park for 'Festival of Lights', which is well worth it.
A great sized family room with everything we needed. A perfect location, an easy walk to Pukekura Park for the light festival. 3 minutes drive from supermarket.
Clean, quiet and close to all amenities. Next to the racecourse close to Pukekura Park, on the main road heading to Whanganui and town centre in close proximity
Very friendly staff who greeted us with a smile and warm greetings
Great comms once we booked, warm welcome from Luke and the little welcoming touches made it more special. Beautifully refurbished and decorated hotel with such cool and quirky art. In the middle of town so we just parked up and walked, including the light festival at Pukekura park.
Location, cleanliness, facilities & pricing.
Was only a 10 minute walk to the TSB festival of lights in Pukekura park.
Think this will be our go to for New Plymouth now.
The hotel and rooms are very stylish and Terry is a delightful host. We didn't have breakfast but we did have dinner one evening and it was delicious. The lamb was perfectly cooked.
The location is great, it's an easy walk to the Len Lye gallery and some excellent cafes, restaurants and bars. In the opposite direction is the famous Pukekura Park for a walk and to admire the beautiful trees and plants.
