It was amazing.
It was amazing. I recommend the private lake view, it was so pretty and relaxing. The pool areas and facilities were extremely clean and well managed. The freshly squeezed fruit juice was a lovely finish to an excellent afternoon of relaxing and rejuvenating.

Fantastic family pools, not crowded but so good to have 3...
Fantastic family pools, not crowded but so good to have 3 different pools, the two hot minerals ones ( I think it did something magic to my skin 😀, I noticed my face looked so smooth after soaking in the pool that even my family said something like "our trip to Rotorua make you look young again" 😀Awesome service, staffs all look smart dressed like airline crew. The duty manager on 9th October at around 3, 4 or 5pm .. sorry I lost track of the time there, he was great and welcoming, I forgot his name but I really liked it when he asked if I used Trip Advisor which I did but was not really sure if it was a genuine real site, so I thank him for asking so now I can confidently use Trip advisor without worrying. Booking.com is good too.

Very unprofessional staff.
Very unprofessional staff.
I contacted the Polynesian Spa by phone on the day we arrived to make an appointment. I was told that they would ring me back.The next morning at 7am before their opening time of 8am. I sent them an email requesting an appointment and that I had already contacted them the day before which no one called me back.I waited until 10am after no one replied to the email I sent at 7am . I rang them a second time and was told someone would ring me back in 2 to 3 minutes which no one did. I was prepared to make a booking for myself and my partner for a spa session with massage worth $180 each which is a bit expensive but thought we are on holidays so why not ? I gave up on the Polynesian spa in the end and booked a 1 hour massage at Siam Gold Thai massage . It was one of the best massages I have ever received for less than half the price of the Polynesian spa. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rotorua don't waste your money at the Polynesian Spa go to Siam Gold it was very relaxing .

Very good deal but off season. We were using the Polynesian spa which was next door. Perfect location for the gardens, spa and a short walk for restaurants and cafes.
Lovely place, right in the centre, close to the Polynesian spa and some walks. The staff there let me stay past the check out time while I waited for my bus, really kind of them!! ALSO THEY HAVE THE MOST ADORABLE CAT! The hostel was clean, quiet, good value.
My room was super comfortable and clean, and it had good facilities, like a communal areas, it had two kitchens were always clean, a big backyard and a hot tube. As for the location is central, it is near to Pakinsave, Polynesian spa, Rotorua Lake, bus stop, library and Museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful with me. Thank you specially Bastian.
Bonus has a cute cat.<3 (;
In liked the location it was very near to everything. Staffs were very kind. Also had option of using Novatel pools and to be honest it was so good and like your own privacy better than Polynesian spa. would love to stay again if i get a chance.
