Although the bedroom was a little dark, it was exceptionally clean and restocked daily. The bed was REALLY comfy - We loved the garden in front of the room.
The highlight of the hotel were the staff! All of them. The stand outs were Robyn and Debz on reception. How brilliant they were at pointing us in the right direction, giving us information on the area and the history and SO friendly. Debz was amazing!

The hotel has no smoking policy in the rooms - this should extend to the room's patio. When the guests next door lit upon their patio the smoke smell would blow into our room, which made leaving the window and door closed.

Boat cruises to the Hole in the Rock plus other scenery so amazing and beautiful. The Car ferry to Russell was another experience which I enjoyed because then I had the car to drive around the Russel area.
