Staff were very friendly, hotel was close to Cromwell village, balcony was lovely to sit outside in the evening, breakfast at the restaurant adjoining the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced.
Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 2.3 mi from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 328 feet from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail.

We had a blast staying at the cozy 2-bedroom cottage! It was awesome having our own space away from the other units, giving us plenty of privacy. Plus, being right by the lagoon was a dream, and the cottage was well-designed and practical.
We loved taking walks and biking right from our doorstep, and dipping into the cold water was the perfect way to cool off on those hot days only to warm up again in the hot pool. And the free kayaking was a sweet bonus!
Sally and Donald, our hosts, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back sometime!

The Colonial Manor Motel was the perfect place for a quiet and spotlessly clean overnight stay. Cheryl, the owner, was very friendly and offered several options for local wine tastings and food. We would definitely return here the next time we're in Cromwell!

We stayed in the most gorgeous mud house in New Zealand located half way between wanaka and Cromwell so a fantastic location to travel in either direction for day trips. We had the most beautiful grounds to explore and the most yummy breakfast cooked for us every morning- an absolute treat. Fabulous hosts. Queensbury Inn bed and breakfast.
