We loved the hotels overall style. Luke was lovely and welcomed us. We were given a king room even though we had booked a double which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable, the shower nice and powerful and the aircon was great as the sun was directly on our room in the evenings. We also enjoyed eating at Joe’s Garage which is below the hotel.

Friendly house staff. We ate dinner at the restaurant on the day we arrived all the other days we ate out. This is not a negative reflection on the restaurant. We wanted to see what Ngā Motu had to offer.

Helpful staff, check in/out was easy, and appreciated being able to pay in advance as we were leaving early. The room had a comfortable bed and a nice spa bath, which actually worked (some places advertise a spa bath, but the jets don't work, which is really disappointing). The location was very handy to local facilities and restaurants/food outlets, so it was easy to do a bit of shopping.
