- Quickest internet of any hotel / motel I stayed at in NZ, I was able to upload GoPro footage while I was there, as an added bonus
- Bathroom and toilet renovations had been well done, unsure how recent but it improved the place

WE almost missed this, so glad we didnt.
WE almost missed this, so glad we didnt. It’s just on way of town on the road to Manapouri, few mins on left. There’s parking, lake, picnic areas, lake and gorgeous forests trees, and if you do the loop walk to the look outs the views are soooo beautiful, we saw snow capped mountains in April. Easy walk back to town.
