The room was super clean. Was greeted politely by Receptionists, was helped by there friendly housekeepers. An area for the kids to play and hangout. Carpark is close by, so it wasn't really a hassle or a long walk to get to our car. Shops are close by too. And my kids favourite part of the hotel (the pool), a nice cool down on a hot sunny day.
The Regent of Rotorua Boutique Hotel boasts a heated outdoor pool, indoor mineral pool, restaurant and unlimited free Wi-Fi for guests to enjoy.

Good location. Really nice room, good shower and nice shower gel etc. very comfortable room and bed. Felt quite luxurious. husband used the pool which he thought was great. We wished we were staying longer than one night. We had a flat tyre and the staff were extremely helpful changing for the spare (thanks Harvey) and directing us to a garage.
The dining room and bar looked great but we did not have the opportunity to enjoy them!

Eat Street is about a dozen restaurants along one block...
Eat Street is about a dozen restaurants along one block which share a common pedestrian street with awnings. There's a good diversity of places with different prices and cuisine styles, and another dozen or so restaurants on the next blocks south. At times it was just a bit loud, felt touristy, busy, and yet some places closed early? Maybe we just visited at the wrong time of year, as it felt like the sidewalks roll up a bit early.
