These gardens are absolutely stunning. So well maintained and cared for. Really liked how they have seats scattered throughout the rock gardens, overlooking the gardens, streets below and basked in the sunshine. Fabulous idea.

A huge area to walk around. Park at the top gardens and visit the aviary and rhododendrons and azaelas in spring. Walk down to the bottom gardens but it's quite a walk back up to the car. Lovely gardens and very tidy, have plenty of time.

They are amazing - especially at this time of the year with the rhodendrons flowering. Well worth spending a few hours there. But parking can be an issue. Also worth a look at next to the gardens if you are interested in history is the old Dunedin North Cemetery.

Awesome historic building. Family suite was comfortable for our family of 3. Unit had a shower and a bath. Sufficient heating in rooms. Awesome location, short walk to many bars, shops, supermarket, restaurants, and Dunedin botanic gardens. Would stay again, and would recommend to others.
