The location couldn't have been much better, just a short walk across a green space to the small town of Hahei. Mike and Andrea were terrific hosts and gave us good advice on things to do and places to eat. They also provided a shovel for nearby Hot Water Beach.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The fireplace is amazing, and it was already set up for us on the first day. It's the perfect spot to explore Coromandel. Very private.

Friendly and accomodating staff. Our room was pretty warm when we arrived and was clean and tidy. There is parking right outside our unit. Location is very close to the beach with a lot of access and it is also close to the start of the cathedral cove track but apparently the track is still close.
We totally enjoyed our two restful nights at Kereru Cottage over Christmas.
The owners were welcoming, the cottage was homely, the garden was very beautiful, perfect for us. Thank you Deirdre and Ray! We hope to come back again next time when the road of Cathedral Cove is reopen again!
The view from this property is amazing - the location is ideal for visiting Cathedral Cove and also very near the shops in town and the beach. Location was perfect.
Phil and Sue were fantastic hosts and made our trip to Hahei even more memorable. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was better than most cafes. Phil and Sue happily offered to drop us to the top of cathedral cover walk which was extremely helpful. Thank you for having us. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Loved the family story and history connected with the sea cottage. Amazing views and character. A fantastic place to relax and connect with nature. The cottage is well equipped and the rooms are very comfortable and tidy. A great location, that is close to the beach, Hahei shops, and the walk entrance to Cathedral Cove.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and liked how clean, comfortable and quiet the apartment was. The owners are very helpful and kind - they even dropped us off at Cathedral Cove which we very much appreciated and they helped with my allergy requirements. Thanks! We chose this accommodation because of the proximity to local attractions (cathedral cove, hot water beach) and it was perfect. A short stroll then you are on Hahei beach which is lovely to walk and was peaceful.
The accommodation was very spacious, clean and peaceful. Everything was supplied and comfortable. We would stay here again on our next visit.
The apartment is really new and the host is really helpful. The viewing platform of Cathedral Cove is just a 2-minute walk away.
We stayed here for 2 nights, one day doing the Cathdral Cove walk, the other day taking the Hahei Explorer boat tour. We also had time for a bath at Hot Water Beach, going to Te Pare point at sunset, taking a ferry to Whitianga for lunch, and driving to Shakespeare Cliff Lookout for the view and a little bit history. There is really a lot of things you could do in Hahei!
