The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

Staff were very friendly, hotel was close to Cromwell village, balcony was lovely to sit outside in the evening, breakfast at the restaurant adjoining the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced.

Everything was amazing. Staff were very attentive and frendly. Loved staying at the Cardrona to catch up with family and friends. Food was exceptional as well.
It is close to cardrona alpine ski resort. The owner is very responsive and friendly. The place contains everything we need as a ski resort. The kitchen has all equipment for making descent and nice meals. we love the communal spa and we made some friends there.
Beautiful rural location.Very quiet. The Cardrona hotel/bar/restaurant is nearby - it has good food and a nice grounds with tables. Make sure you make reservations for dinner.
The Cardrona has an amazing vibe. Very cozy and comfortable. It was nice to come back after a long day and have a drink and a meal by the fire or outside in the sunny garden. The food in the restauraunt and bar were also great. Very friendly staff as well!
