It's an older hotel but grand; and an amazing location. I had one of the rooms with a view and I couldn't believe how beautiful the view was. The lobby was such a nice place to sit and have a tea or drink in and watch the cars and buses go by the hairpin turns. Watching the sun go down on the fjord was spectacular. The walk down and back to the village gave you fabulous views of the hotel looking back on my way down, and getting closer on my way back up. It's like an old Victorian (but don't think it's that old) kind of hotel; with a formal dining room which had a delicious dinner.

The cottage was super. Very comfortable, well equipped, clean and with a wonderful view on the Geirangerfjord. Free parking in front of the cottage. A place to stay!
The room was nice and had a great view of the Geirangerfjords. There were 4 beds and a nice table for dinner. There were also chairs and a recliner that was quite comfortable. The room was well heated. The entire place, including the kitchen, was clean and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The owner was very nice and cordial, and even offered us a ride back to the port when we were leaving because we didn't have a car.
The location is great for hikes (unfortunately we couldn't experience this due to bad weather) and you have a great view over the Geirangerfjord. An additional plus is the free parking
Great views of the Geirangerfjorden!! We had absolutely great room. Cozy large lounges. Just lovely old house, toilet was tiny, but ok - we accepted this all with this lovely place! Good beds, good breakfast - and nice staff, like lovely Emmi, nice surprise, too!
Because the smaller studios were not ready for the season yet we got upgraded to a regular cabin. The view from the cabin over the Geirangerfjord downhill was absolutely stunning. The cabin is well equiped, spacious and had a fridge with freezer and oven and stove. Excellent for self-catering. The staff was kind and helpful. All in all this was our best stay in Norway (so far - and I doubt any other accommodation will beat it).
Luxurious hotel with the most perfect location in the Geirangerfjord. Staff are very customer-oriented, they try to make their guests as happy as possible. We requested an extra night which they arranged immediately for us. Breakfast and dinner are both perfect. And don't forget to take a swim in the outdoor pool / bubble bath with the mountain view, it was perfect. You can park your car in front of the hotel and all the sight seeings are nearby. The place to be, it is worth it, and a room with a view makes every morning a gift.
