Nice older hotel with very quiet clean rooms. After a long day of sightseeing, we really appreciated receiving dinner, as well as breakfast, and both meals offered several options to choose from.

It's nice. Bit hilly here and there on a hot summer day.
It's nice. Bit hilly here and there on a hot summer day. I actually preferred the folk museum in Oslo which I went round in winter. This was a little too much of a lot of the the same farm buildings. Schoolhouse and Church were excellent though.

It's an incredible experience to see the recreation of history in a real outdoor setting.
Plan to spend a lot of time there.
The docents (dressed in costumes to match the era) are wonderful.
Kids-friendly place with things to interest youngsters like chalkboards in the old school and outdoor games near the train station.
