The staff friendliness, the attention given to help provide for the guests needs and comfort, as well as the attention to detail and selection of food items for the buffet breakfast included with the room rate, exceeded by far my expectations. The Scandic Narvik hotel is located centrally with terrific panoramic views across the fjord and mountains from the rooftop bar. The building is modern and welcoming and the staff were lovely and friendly, especially the lady on breakfast service - nothing was too much trouble for her. Everywhere was beautifully clean and we slept well in comfortable beds with no noise disturbance. It is very close to shopping facilities and convenient to access activities, although we used the local taxi service a lot as we weren't confident walking far in snowy and icy conditions.

Base Camp is the perfect location, for skiing & snowboarding. The room is spacious, with a modern cabin feel. The room has a well equipped small kitchenette to make your own meals. Beds are comfy and lovely heated bathroom. The "picnic style" breakfast was great every morning and they even assisted with a lactose free option. Coffee machine in the lounge area.

But the best was the breakfast, so good and complete, lots of options!
