One of the highlights of Villa Fregn is the fantastic wellness amenities. The wood-burning sauna was a delightful way to unwind after a day of exploring, and the jacuzzi provided the perfect spot to relax under the stars. For those feeling adventurous, a refreshing dip in the nearby river after a sauna session is a must-do—an invigorating experience that connects you with the pristine nature around you.
What truly set this stay apart were the hosts, Bart and Ellen. They were nothing short of fantastic, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their knowledge of the area is unparalleled, and they provided me with excellent directions and tips for hiking in the nearby trails, ensuring I made the most of my time in the area. Their warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home.
And then there was the food. Ellen is a culinary wizard, and the dinner she prepared was simply divine. Every dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and made from the freshest local ingredients. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
