It is spectacular. The decor is stunning, from the lobby to inside the room. The bathroom had heated floors, the room was very clean smelling amazing. I don’t know if it’s the same in all rooms but our bathroom had a tub and a shower with a gorgeous sink and there was a separate mini bathroom with the toilet and a small sink. That was great because you didn’t have to wait for one person to finish their shower in order to use the bathroom.
The breakfast selections were great, there were always cookies in the lobby in an area for tea or coffee and there were several areas to sit and read a paper or a book.
We had a room with a canal view that made the experience even better. It’s worth the few extra dollars to have the view.
The hotel is in a very convenient location and we walked everywhere.

Ugh. If you're into Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks and Burger...
Ugh. If you're into Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks and Burger King on every corner you've found your place. Otherwise, honestly, skip it. There's a lot of history here, obviously, but it was lost in the crowds and the clutter. Sad.

On Dam Square, the Royal Palace exterior looks grotty but inside it was amazing. Pay an entry and be well pleased with what you get to see. The audio device was too soft for me but just follow the signs and look for yourself.

Worth a visit to see the different architecture in the city...
Worth a visit to see the different architecture in the city which then leads onto the large shopping area and department store. We went November and everywhere was starting to display their windows and the streets ready for Christmas, lovely atmosphere.

Pigeons are filthy, the numbers of people we saw covered in pigeons asking their friends to take a picture is, yuck, feeling nauseous just typingg it.
I rephrase it, you can give them money cause they obviously need it but for the love of god don't count "getting assaulted by pigeon" as a Dam square attraction.

The hotel location was a walkable distant to the Dam square (if you enjoy long leisure walks) and as we went to Amsterdam New Year's Eve, it meant that when we got back from the New Year's Day celebrations 🍾 😀, it was quiet, so we had a good night sleep.
The rooms were great. A little small but it was okay. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel! Make sure to get the breakfast. Location was great, near Dam square and the Centraal station.
Recently i stay there for last days. Hotel staff is very good and cooperative. Hotel is very near to Amsterdam central station . Red light district area and Dam square is also very near from hotel.
The staff at Anantara, especially those at the reception, were exceptional in ensuring guests have the best possible stay. A heartfelt thanks to Rona at the reception for prioritizing even the smallest of our concerns and addressing them with care. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and comfortable.

Nova Hotel is very close to the Dam Square. This location was close to shopping, restaurants, tours- essentially everything I wanted when I came to Amsterdam. The hotel's breakfast was exceptional and the staff was extremely personable and helpful.
It’s a lovely small hotel in an excellent location. Just down the street from Dam square, you are in the heart of it all. Only a 20min walk to the big museums and plenty of restaurants around. I would definitely stay again.
It is in an excellent location, many eating and shopping stores with in walking distance. About 10-12 minute walk from Centraal station. Steps away from Dam Square.

We were on the 4 the floor , majority of the time it was quiet. The room came with a mini fridge which came to n handy.

The hotel is very near Dam Square and within easy walking distance of the Anne Frank House. The hotel is also very near a number of excellent resturants. The resturant located in the hotel, Hultchers, was especially good. If I returned to Amsterdam, I would stay here again. Excellent value for the money.
